TrustedForm Pricing and What TrustedForm Costs per Lead in 2026
TrustedForm pricing is usage based. Certify, which creates the certificate, is free. You pay when you keep or check a certificate: Retain costs $0.12 to $0.15 per lead for the first 1,000 and falls to $0.06 to $0.08 above 50,000, Verify costs $0.15 falling to $0.08, Insights cost $0.05 per datapoint, and storage adds $0.0002 per certificate per month. A buyer retaining and verifying 10,000 third-party leads a month pays roughly $2,460 before storage.

TrustedForm price list by product
The figures below come from ActiveProspect's own pricing article in its help center, last revised in May 2026. ActiveProspect sells TrustedForm a la carte on a pay-as-you-go plan with no long-term commitment, or on a contracted plan with an annual spend commitment of $24,000 or more and custom rates. Check the vendor's current page before you sign, because packaging changes.
| TrustedForm product | What it does | Published price |
|---|---|---|
| Certify | Creates the certificate when the form is submitted | Free, unlimited |
| Retain, first-party leads (verified domains) | Stores the certificate for 5 years | $0.12 first 1,000, $0.10 next 19,000, $0.08 next 30,000, $0.06 at 50,000 and above |
| Retain, third-party leads (unverified domains) | Stores the certificate for 5 years | $0.15 first 1,000, $0.12 next 19,000, $0.10 next 30,000, $0.08 at 50,000 and above |
| Storage | Hosts retained certificates | $0.0002 per certificate per month |
| Verify | Checks consent details on a certificate in real time | $0.15 first 1,000, $0.12 next 19,000, $0.10 next 30,000, $0.08 at 50,000 and above |
| Insights | Returns one datapoint such as lead age, IP, geo, page scan, time on page | $0.05 per datapoint per request |
Two details catch new buyers out. Certificates you never retain expire after 90 days, so "free" Certify alone does not leave you with evidence for a lawsuit filed a year later. And the third-party rate applies whenever the lead comes from a domain you have not verified as your own, which is the normal case for anyone buying leads.
How much does TrustedForm cost per month
The tiers read like tax brackets, so the examples below price each band at its own rate. They assume every lead is retained and verified, with no Insights calls. Your bill will be lower if you only retain leads that convert, and higher if you add Insights or LeadConduit.
| Monthly volume | Retain (third-party) | Verify | Monthly total before storage | Effective cost per lead |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1,000 leads | $150 | $150 | $300 | $0.30 |
| 10,000 leads | $1,230 | $1,230 | $2,460 | $0.25 |
| 50,000 leads | $5,430 | $5,430 | $10,860 | $0.22 |
Storage grows slowly but never resets. Retaining 10,000 certificates a month for a year leaves 120,000 in storage, which costs about $24 a month by month twelve and keeps climbing for five years. A first-party lead generator retaining 10,000 of its own leads pays $1,020 for Retain instead of $1,230.
If you also route leads through LeadConduit, that is billed separately: $0.15 per transaction for the first 1,000, dropping to $0.05 above 500,000, and a typical lead creates two transactions, one in and one out.
Who actually pays for TrustedForm
On most lead exchanges the publisher runs the free Certify script and passes the certificate URL with the lead, and the buyer pays to retain and verify it. That split is why buyers feel TrustedForm pricing most. A Medicare or final expense call center buying 30,000 leads a month from a dozen vendors pays per lead whether the policy sells or not, and the cost shows up on every lead invoice.
Publishers pay too when buyers require them to retain certificates, or when they use Verify or Insights to clean their own traffic before selling it. That is where the first-party rate matters, since it requires verifying the domains you own.
When TrustedForm is worth the price
TrustedForm is the most widely requested certificate in lead generation. If your largest buyers write "TrustedForm certificate required" into their insertion orders, you need it, and arguing about per-lead cost is beside the point. The same goes for publishers selling into networks that reject leads without a certificate URL.
Usage pricing also suits small or uneven programs. A team certifying 500 leads in a slow month pays for 500. Nobody is locked into a minimum on the pay-as-you-go plan.
- Your buyers or carriers require TrustedForm by name.
- Your volume swings a lot from month to month.
- You only need to retain the minority of leads that convert.
When a flat subscription costs less
Per-lead pricing gets expensive at steady volume. ConsentVerified bundles certificates, lead verification, consent language audits, DNC scrubbing and an evidence vault into a monthly plan. Growth costs $499 a month, or $249 a month billed yearly, and includes 50,000 certificates and 25,000 verifications. Scale costs $1,299 a month, or $649 a month billed yearly, with 250,000 certificates and 150,000 verifications.
| Scenario | TrustedForm Retain plus Verify | ConsentVerified plan |
|---|---|---|
| 10,000 third-party leads a month | About $2,460 a month | Growth, $499 a month or $249 billed yearly |
| 50,000 certificates, 25,000 verifications | About $5,430 Retain plus $2,930 Verify, about $8,360 | Growth, $499 a month or $249 billed yearly |
| 50,000 leads fully retained and verified | About $10,860 a month | Scale, $1,299 a month or $649 billed yearly |
| Retention period | 5 years | 1 to 7 years depending on plan |
The honest trade-off: a ConsentVerified certificate is not a TrustedForm certificate. If a buyer insists on a TrustedForm URL, you still need TrustedForm for that buyer. Many teams run both, sending TrustedForm where it is contractually required and certifying everything else with a flat plan. For the full side by side, see the TrustedForm alternative comparison and the TrustedForm vs Jornaya breakdown. If Jornaya is also on your shortlist, see what buyers report paying in our Jornaya pricing article. All three pricing models are compared in TCPA compliance software pricing.
Run your disclosure through the TCPA consent language checker before you compare certificate vendors. A certificate only preserves the wording on your form, so a disclosure that never names the seller stays a weak record whatever you pay to store it.
TrustedForm pricing questions buyers ask
Is TrustedForm free?
TrustedForm Certify is free, and it creates a certificate for every form submission. Retain, Verify, Insights and storage are paid. Unretained certificates are deleted after 90 days, so a free-only setup does not keep evidence long enough to answer most TCPA claims.
How much does TrustedForm cost per lead?
Expect roughly $0.22 to $0.30 per lead to retain and verify third-party leads at pay-as-you-go rates, depending on volume. Retain alone runs $0.08 to $0.15 for third-party leads and $0.06 to $0.12 for first-party leads, before storage and Insights.
Does TrustedForm require a contract?
No. The pay-as-you-go plan has no long-term commitment and is billed from a digital wallet. Higher volume teams can sign an annual contract, which starts at a $24,000 yearly spend commitment and comes with custom pricing and a client success manager.
How long does TrustedForm keep certificates?
Retained certificates are kept for 5 years and can be shared through their certificate URL. If your counsel wants a longer evidence window, for example for state law claims or legal hold, compare the retention terms of each vendor before you choose.
Price your own lead volume
Take last month's lead count, multiply it through the tiers above, and compare that with a flat plan. If your AI voice agents or automated outbound calling team dial thousands of leads a month, steady volume usually makes the subscription cheaper. Check your consent language first, then start certifying every lead.
